Agapanthus Gold Strike

Agapanthus Gold Strike is a striking evergreen variety featuring vibrant blue flowers with darker stripes, held aloft on tall stems in summer. Its standout feature is its variegated foliage, with bold green leaves edged and streaked with golden-yellow, providing year-round interest even when not flowering. This unique combination of colourful flowers and ornamental foliage makes it a captivating choice for gardens.

Perfect for modern, tropical, or coastal gardens, Gold Strike thrives in full sun and well-drained soils. It is drought-tolerant once established and ideal for borders, containers, or as a focal point in garden beds. Space plants 40–50 cm apart to allow for its clumping habit to shine.

Mature size: Reaches up to 60–70 cm in height and 40–50 cm in width, forming a dense, clumping mound.

Trimming: Cut back foliage in late autumn or winter once it has died back naturally. Remove any yellowing or damaged leaves during the growing season to maintain a tidy appearance.
