Erica WT Rackliff, Irish heath, is a delightful evergreen shrub known for its profuse flowering and compact growth habit. This cultivar produces masses of small, bell-shaped, white cherry-scented flowers from late winter to early spring, offering a burst of colour when most other plants are still dormant. The fine, needle-like, dark green foliage remains attractive throughout the year, providing consistent garden interest.

Ideal for rock gardens, cottage gardens, and heather gardens as a neat rounded bush or is great as a low hedge. It thrives in full sun to partial shade and prefers well-drained, acidic to neutral soils. This hardy heather is well-suited for borders, containers, and mass plantings, where it can create a vibrant carpet of colour and texture during the cooler months.

Space the plants about 50 to 70 cm apart to allow their low, spreading habit to develop fully. Mature Erica WT Rackliff plants typically reach a height of 60 to 70 cm and a spread of about 60 cm.
