Heuchera Northern Exposure Black

Heuchera Northern Exposure Black is a hardy, clump-forming perennial with rich, dark foliage that shifts from deep burgundy to near-black throughout the year. Soft pink flowers appear on slender stems from late Spring through early Summer, offering a gentle contrast to the bold leaf colour. Bred for improved cold tolerance and long-term performance, it provides striking year-round interest in both garden beds and containers.

Well-suited to woodland, cottage, or modern gardens, Heuchera Northern Exposure Black is ideal for shaded borders, underplanting, or mixed containers. It prefers partial to full shade with moist, free-draining soil. Space approximately 35-40 cm apart to ensure healthy growth and airflow.

Forms a compact, mounded clump approximately 30 cm high and 40 cm wide.

Trimming: Remove any tatty or dead leaves throughout the year to keep the foliage neat. In late winter or early spring, trim back old growth to make way for fresh new leaves.

Deadheading: Snip off spent flower spikes to tidy the plant and encourage a potential second flush of flowers.
