Hydrangea Hamburg

Hydrangea Hamburg.  Add a splash of enduring colour to your garden with the Hydrangea macrophylla Hamburg, a versatile and bushy deciduous shrub that stands at an ideal 1.5m in height and width. Its deciduous foliage frames summer-long blooms that vary from deep rose to purplish blue, influenced by the soil's pH. In acidic soils with a pH lower than 5.5, it will present a purplish-blue flower. Soil any higher than a pH of 5.5 will make the plant produce pink-mauve flowers. Suited for various soil types, it flourishes in partial shade with moist, well-drained conditions. Hardy and resilient, Hamburg requires minimal maintenance, blossoming from spring to autumn. Note that it can cause skin irritation, so handling with care is advised​.
