Michelia yunnanensis

Michelia yunnanensis.  This small evergreen tree is a real winner. Glossy-green leathery foliage which always looks tidy. Clips well should you wish to consider using for topiary or hedging. Velvety-brown buds open to the most deliciously-scented, little cream flowers in early spring. Easy to grow and quite tolerant.
