Peony Maestro

Paeonia lactiflora Maestro has dark red double flowers that open slowly to show the yellow stamens in the centre in early summer. It is a clumping perennial and requires plenty of room to grow so plant away from the roots of trees and shrubs. Prefers sunny to lightly shaded spot and moist soil. Makes a fantastic cut flower. 1m x 1m at maturity.
