Coprosma Taiko, is a striking variety of Coprosma, known for its compact growth habit and foliage that features a mix of deep burgundy and glossy green colours. This shrub is part of the Coprosma family, which is celebrated for its hardy nature and vibrant, mirror-like leaves.

Ideal for creating colourful, low-maintenance borders, as an accent in mixed plantings, or on a sloping bank. Its small stature and dense growth make it a perfect choice for spaces where a splash of year-round colour is desired without the plant becoming too overpowering.

Coprosma Taiko thrives in full sun to partial shade and prefers well-drained soil. It is relatively drought-tolerant once established and can handle a variety of soil types, making it a versatile choice for different garden settings. It is also suitable for coastal areas, as it can tolerate salt spray and windy conditions. For a dense display or hedge, spacing should be about 50-60cm apart, allowing the plants to grow together and form a continuous, colorful mass.
